Potting & Transplant Mix

Materials

2 parts Pro-mix HP peat with coco or any peat based medium
1 part Finished household compost or store bought will do the same-ish thing
1 part Earthworm castings E.W.C
1 part Vermiculite or vermiculite substitute
1 part Water

Instructions

Blend the potting mix well, slowly adding water until the mix is lightly moist. Batch this mix in whatever volume necessary for your needs. This mix is good to alleviate transplant shock and is used for the soil layer above hot highly amended soils.

Notes

It is important to remember that young roots should never directly contact hot highly amended soil blends. They should instead be allowed to grow out from the potting mix into the nutrient rich layer below and off to the sides.
