Alfalfa Aloe Kelp Vegetative Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp humic acid
  • 1 cup alfalfa meal
  • 1 cup fresh aloe or Freeze dried aloe
  • 1 cup kelp meal
  • 1/2 cup household compost
  • 1/2 cup unsulfured molasses
  • 4 gallons unchlorinated water

Instructions

  • Brew in a 5 gallon tea brewer for 24-72 hours. Strain off liquid and mix 4:1 with unchlorinated water. Save the tea as a concentrate for later use if necessary.
  • This type of tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Mix with water at the ratio of 4 parts water 1 part alfalfa tea for use as a soil drench.

Notes

This tea should smell sweet. Any tea with a foul odor should be discarded.
